Our egg donors come from diverse ethnicities. Current donor pool includes candidates who are: Caucasian, European, Swedish, Irish, Russian, British, Italian, Armenian, South American, Indian, African American, Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean, Japanese, Filipino, Vietnamese, and Cantonese.
Anonymous egg donor program
Our egg donor program is anonymous, meaning you will not be provided with identifying information about the donor, nor will the donor be provided with identifying information about you. Donor profiles are usually composed of childhood pictures of the donor and any other pictures the donor feel comfortable in providing. You will be provided with the donor‘s family health history, current medical/psychological status, and legal contract before proceeding with donation.

Asian Egg Donor Program
RFC has its own extensive Asian Egg Donor Program - One of the largest donor pools consisting of the following ethnicities: Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Filipino, Indian, and Taiwanese. No wait list, and very convenient and affordable for out-of-town recipients. Medical Screening
Detailed medical screening is required by the FDA, and sometimes may involve testing the donor’s partner (if any), and more than one set of blood work. The medical screening has to be done at an FDA-approved laboratory. The extensive requirements are in place to protect the recipients of the donor gamete.

Genetic Counseling & Testing
All of our donors are tested for common genetic disorders. They will also meet with a genetic counselor, and it will be determined if any additional genetic screening is recommended.
Psychological Screening
A psychologist will provide psychological screening and counseling. This helps to ensure that the donor is mentally prepared for the procedure and understands the process. This ensures that the donor is ready and committed to the IVF cycle and is a voluntary participant that will follow the physician’s instructions during the process.
Legal Contract
Although California is one of the best states for egg donation and surrogacy in the United States, reproductive law is still considered an unsettled area. Therefore, we ask every egg donation to have a legal contract in place to protect the privacy, rights, and responsibilities of both parties. Our patients have expressed that they feel having the legal contract in place prior to donation is a great investment, since it provides them peace of mind for the future.

RFC works with Gestational carriers (women who carry the pregnancy for intended parents, but have no genetic link to the child), or intended parents who are in need of a gestational carrier. This procedure is generally used for patients who have severe damage to their uterine cavity, have had their uterus removed, or cannot carry a pregnancy for health reasons.
